  How NatroVital Elecampane is Made

  We begin with dried Elecampane root and use an alcohol extraction process to draw out a broad range of the naturally occurring compounds contained within the root. This allows us to produce a concentrated herbal extract rather than simply placing powdered root into a capsule.

  After extraction, the alcohol is gently removed under vacuum at low temperatures. The concentrated Elecampane extract is then blended with vegetable glycerine and purified Grander water, producing an alcohol-free liquid herbal extract.

  This process allows us to use alcohol where it is valuable — during extraction — without leaving it in the finished product. The result is a convenient liquid Elecampane extract that retains the characteristic compounds of the root without synthetic binders, coatings, fillers or artificial ingredients.

• ◄What is the recommended dosage for NatroVital Elecampane?

  The daily adult dose is 5 mL, divided into two serves of 2.5 mL — one in the morning and one in the evening. One mL is approximately 20 drops. Add each dose to a small glass of water or juice, drink immediately, and swirl the glass to ensure any remaining liquid is also consumed. Dosages may vary depending on individual needs and practitioner guidance.

  Elecampane can be combined with other NatroVital herbs depending on the type of cough and respiratory symptoms:

  • For a chesty cough with thick or stubborn mucus: Mullein can be combined with Elecampane when mucus is difficult to bring up and the chest feels congested.
  • For broader respiratory support: Breathe Easy combines Elecampane with Mullein, Ribwort and other herbs traditionally used to help with chesty coughs, mucus and respiratory congestion.

  Yes. NatroVital Elecampane is suitable for both Vegans and Vegetarians as it contains no animal-derived ingredients and is made solely from plant-based ingredients.

  ◄Are there any contraindications for using NatroVital Elecampane?

  Elecampane (Inula helenium) is generally well tolerated when used within normal herbal dosages, but there are several precautions to be aware of.

  Asteraceae family allergy: Elecampane belongs to the same botanical family as plants including daisies, chamomile, echinacea, chrysanthemums and ragweed. People with a known sensitivity to plants within this family may also react to Elecampane.

  Pregnancy and breastfeeding: There is insufficient safety information for concentrated Elecampane extracts during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so use is best avoided during these periods.

  Dosage: Elecampane is generally well tolerated when used at the recommended dosage. Taking substantially more than the recommended amount may cause digestive upset, including nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea.
