Our Story — Practitioner Formulated, Purity Focused

NatroVital was founded by Greg Newson, a naturopath, herbalist and nutritionist with more than two decades of experience in herbal medicine and natural health.

Since beginning clinical practice in 2002, Greg has worked with thousands of people and seen first-hand how much difference the quality, simplicity and composition of a product can make.

Over the years, he became increasingly frustrated by supplements containing unnecessary fillers, synthetic excipients, artificial sweeteners, colours and other additives that offered little purpose within the formula. Many products contained excellent active ingredients, but they were often surrounded by substances that simply did not need to be there.

That frustration helped shape the foundation of NatroVital: create clean, purposeful formulas, avoid unnecessary additives and use ingredients that genuinely belong in the product.

The goal has never been to follow supplement trends. It has always been to create practical products based on clinical experience, traditional herbal knowledge, nutritional science and a strong commitment to purity.

Why Purity Matters to Us

At NatroVital, purity is not simply something we write on the label. It influences the way our products are formulated, the raw materials we select and, just as importantly, the ingredients we deliberately leave out.

Whether we are making a herbal extract, capsule, powder or liposomal product, the aim is the same — keep the formula as clean, purposeful and uncomplicated as possible.

Our capsules are made without unnecessary synthetic fillers, binders or additives. Our powders focus on active ingredients without unnecessary bulking agents, artificial colours, synthetic flavours or excessive sweeteners.

Wherever practical, we choose organic herbs and carefully selected raw materials that meet our standards for quality and purity.

Herbal Extracts Made Differently

Our herbal extracts are one of the clearest examples of the NatroVital approach.

We manufacture our herbal extracts ourselves in Australia using traditional herbal extraction methods. Alcohol is used during the initial extraction because it allows us to extract a broad range of naturally occurring constituents from the herbs.

Once extraction is complete, the alcohol is carefully removed under vacuum at low temperature. The concentrated herbal extract is then finished using vegetable glycerine and purified Grander water, resulting in an alcohol-free finished product.

This is very different from simply soaking herbs in glycerine from the beginning. By carrying out the alcohol extraction first and removing the alcohol afterwards, we can maintain the advantages of traditional herbal extraction while creating a finished extract without alcohol.

It is a slower and more involved process that requires additional equipment, time and attention, but we believe the extra work is worthwhile.

We believe knowing how a product is made matters.

NatroVital is Australian owned, and many of our products are manufactured by us rather than simply being developed on paper and handed to another company to produce.

Making our own herbal extracts gives us greater control over the herbs we use, the extraction process, the finished concentration and the quality of the product that ultimately reaches our customers.

It also allows us to continually refine the way we manufacture our products as our knowledge and experience continue to grow.

Formulated From Clinical Experience

Greg’s background as a naturopath, herbalist and nutritionist has strongly influenced the way NatroVital products are developed.

Before concentrating on naturopathy, herbal medicine and nutrition, Greg also worked as a remedial massage therapist. That hands-on clinical experience contributed to a broader understanding of the relationships between muscles, pain, stress, digestion, sleep and the nervous system.

Many NatroVital formulas have developed from patterns repeatedly seen in clinical practice and from the practical question: how can we create a cleaner, more useful formula for the people we are working with?

This practitioner-led approach remains at the centre of NatroVital today.

Education Is Part of Our Purpose

We believe understanding your health is just as important as choosing the right products. When people understand why symptoms may be occurring and how different areas of the body can influence each other, the bigger picture often starts to make more sense.

That is why we create health articles, podcasts and practical resources exploring the connections between nutrition, digestion, stress, sleep, hormones, liver function and other areas of health.

Our aim is simple: explain natural health clearly, cut through unnecessary jargon and give people practical information they can actually understand and use.

We are not trying to become a large, faceless supplement company. We care about the details — the herbs and nutrients we choose, the ingredients we leave out, the way products are formulated and manufactured, and the information we provide to the people who use them.
