We begin with organic Elderflower and use an alcohol extraction process to draw compounds from the delicate flowers into solution. Elderflower naturally contains flavonoids, phenolic acids and aromatic plant compounds, and using a liquid extraction allows us to work with more than simply ground or powdered flower material.
Once extraction is complete, the alcohol is gently removed under vacuum at low temperatures. This allows us to produce a concentrated herbal extract without subjecting the Elderflower to prolonged high heat. Vegetable glycerine and purified Grander water are then added to create the finished alcohol-free liquid.
