  • NatroVital For Pets Calm Care May Help With

A calm nervous system is a cornerstone of emotional well-being for our beloved pets. Just as in humans, the nervous system plays a vital role in regulating our pets' responses to the world around them. When their nervous system is in a balanced and serene state, it enables them to navigate through life's challenges with greater ease, comfort, and composure. A calm nervous system can significantly benefit pets in various ways, from reducing anxiety and fear to promoting relaxation and emotional stability. By fostering a sense of tranquility within their nervous system, we provide our furry companions with the support they need to lead happier, healthier lives filled with contentment and joy. Understanding the significance of a calm nervous system for our pets empowers us to take steps in nurturing their emotional well-being and strengthening the bond we share with them. Below are classic signs that an animals nervous system may be out of balanced and on high alert.

    • Anxiety: A pet with a poorly functioning nervous system may be more susceptible to anxiety due to imbalances in neurotransmitters and hormones that regulate mood and emotions. An overactive nervous system can result in an exaggerated stress response, causing the pet to become hypersensitive to external stimuli and easily triggered by perceived threats or changes in their environment. This heightened anxiety may lead to restlessness, excessive vocalisation, trembling, hiding, or destructive behaviours.
    • Depression: A pet experiencing a dysregulated nervous system may be prone to developing depression, as disruptions in neural function can negatively impact their emotional well-being. An imbalanced nervous system may manifest as suboptimal neural functioning, affecting the pet's neurotransmitter levels and hormonal regulation. This state of neural imbalance can lead to a dampened mood, lethargy, loss of interest in activities, changes in appetite, and social withdrawal—signs indicative of pet depression.
    • Fear: A malfunctioning nervous system in a pet may result in heightened reactivity, leading to fearfulness. When the pet's nervous system is not functioning optimally, it can create neural dysregulation, causing increased sensitivity to perceived threats and environmental stimuli. This neural imbalance can trigger an exaggerated fear response, where the pet becomes more reactive and avoids situations or stimuli that they perceive as dangerous.
    • High Alert: A pet with an impaired or dysfunctional nervous system may experience a state of heightened vigilance and alertness, commonly known as "High Alert." When the nervous system is not functioning optimally, it can lead to neural imbalances, causing the pet to be hyper-responsive to stimuli in their environment. This heightened sensitivity can result in an exaggerated fight-or-flight response, where the pet becomes overly reactive to perceived threats or changes in their surroundings. They may constantly remain on edge, displaying signs of restlessness, excessive scanning of their surroundings, and reacting strongly to even minor stimuli.
    • Hyperactivity: A pet with a poorly functioning nervous system may be susceptible to experiencing hyperactivity, characterised by excessive and restless behaviour. When the nervous system is not functioning optimally, it can lead to imbalances in neurotransmitters and hormones that regulate the pet's energy levels and impulses. This neural dysregulation can result in increased excitability and difficulty in self-regulating, leading to hyperactive behaviours such as constant pacing, jumping, excessive vocalisation, and difficulty staying still.
    • Low Moods: A pet with a "dysfunctional" nervous system may be susceptible to experiencing low moods, characterised by a lack of enthusiasm and vitality. When the nervous system is not operating optimally, it can lead to imbalances in neurotransmitters and hormones that influence the pet's emotional state. This neural dysregulation can result in a decreased production of feel-good chemicals, leading to feelings of sadness, lethargy, and disinterest in activities they once enjoyed. They may exhibit signs of withdrawal, reduced appetite, and limited social interactions.
    • Nervous Exhaustion: A pet with an "impaired" nervous system may be more prone to experiencing "nervous exhaustion," where disruptions in neural function can lead to emotional fatigue and reduced resilience to stress. Neural imbalances can result in excessive wear and tear on the nervous system, leaving the pet feeling drained and overwhelmed. This state of neural imbalance can diminish the pet's ability to cope with everyday stressors, making them more susceptible to feelings of exhaustion and vulnerability. Moreover, this dysregulation may exacerbate feelings of restlessness and unease, further contributing to their sense of "nervous exhaustion.
    • Panic Disorders: A pet with a compromised" nervous system may be more prone to experiencing fear, as disruptions in neural function can negatively impact their emotional well-being. Neural imbalances can lead to heightened reactivity, causing the pet to become hypersensitive to perceived threats and environmental stimuli. This state of neural imbalance can trigger an exaggerated fear response, where the pet becomes more reactive and avoids situations or stimuli they perceive as dangerous. Moreover, this neural dysregulation may lead to heightened vigilance and apprehension, contributing to their fearful state. Such dysregulation may also manifest as a "heightened fear response," resulting in increased susceptibility to panic-like behaviours.
    • Restlessness:A pet with a deficient nervous system may be more prone to experiencing restlessness, as disruptions in neural function can negatively impact their ability to find calm and relaxation. Neural imbalances can lead to increased excitability and difficulty in self-regulating, causing the pet to exhibit signs of restlessness such as constant pacing, inability to settle, and repetitive behaviours. This state of neural imbalance can make it challenging for the pet to find comfort, leading them to seek relief through continuous movement or agitation. Additionally, this dysregulation may affect their sleep patterns, leading to disrupted rest and further contributing to their restlessness.
    • Stress: A pet with a weakened nervous system may be more susceptible to experiencing stress, as disruptions in neural function can negatively impact their ability to cope with various challenges. Neural imbalances can lead to heightened sensitivity to stressors, causing the pet to react more intensely to changes in their environment or routine. This state of neural imbalance can trigger a heightened stress response, where the pet may exhibit signs of restlessness, increased vocalisation, changes in appetite, or avoidance behaviours. Additionally, this dysregulation may affect their hormonal balance, leading to elevated stress hormones and prolonged periods of heightened arousal.

Calm Cavoodle

Our 2 year old Cavoodle is definitely high energy, constantly on the move and wanting to play with no real off button - no matter how many walks she gets. We were getting a little concerned with her hyperactivity and nervousness so we decided to try NatroVital for Pets Calm Care. After 2 days of putting it in her food morning and night there was a noticeable difference in her behaviour. She still played but also took the time to just sit and look out the window or lay on our laps for a cuddle without pestering us to throw the ball. We have also given her a few drops when we know we are going to be gone for a longer period of time to assist with separation anxiety. Thank you for creating such a great product for pets. Brilliant Product!!

Our little fur baby used to get incredibly anxious when we took her to the groomer. She started shaking as soon as we drove into the street and wouldn't get out of the car, it was very upsetting. We give Calm Care to her for a few days leading up to the date and she is now relaxed and calm when we walk in. Thank you!

A Lifesaver

I can't recommend Calm Care for Pets enough! Clyde used to struggle with various stress triggers, from thunderstorms to car rides. It broke my heart to see him suffer, and I was desperate to find a natural solution. Not only does it help him stay calm during thunderstorms and fireworks, but it also makes vet visits less stressful for both of us. It's easy to use, I just add to his food or water, and it doesn't disrupt his eating habits at all.
