  For optimal use of Cardiac Care, we suggest administering 1 drop per kilogram of body weight, twice a day, for pets weighing up to 25 kilograms. If your pet weighs over 25 kilograms, please add an extra 1 drop for every 2 kilograms of body weight. It's important to note that 1 milliliter is equivalent to 20 drops.

  If your pet has known allergies to any of the ingredients, it is advised not to use NatroVital For Pets Cardiac Care Herbal Tonic. Additionally, if they are experiencing low blood pressure, it is recommended to avoid taking Cardiac Care. Theoretically, Hawthorn berries present in the tonic may result in vasodilation and hypotension. If they are currently taking blood pressure-lowering medication, it is important to monitor your blood pressure closely while using Cardiac Care. Hawthorn may potentially inhibit PDE-5 medications, including Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra. Furthermore, it is advised not to use NatroVital For Pets Cardiac Care if they are taking calcium channel blocker medication, such as verapamil (Calan, Covera-HS, Verelan), nifedipine (Procardia), and diltiazem (Cardizem, Dilacor, Tiazac). This is because Coleus, an ingredient in Cardiac Care, can lower blood pressure. If your pet is currently taking nitrates, such as nitroglycerin (Nitro-Bid, Nitro-Dur, Nitrostat) and isosorbide (Imdur, Isordil, Sorbitrate), it is not recommended to take Cardiac Care. Coleus can cause vasodilation of the blood vessels that supply the heart. Avoid using Cardiac Care if they are taking anti-coagulant medications, including aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, ticlopidine (Ticlid), warfarin (Coumadin), and others. Lastly, if they are taking digoxin, using Dan Shen in conjunction with it might potentially increase cardiovascular effects and side effects, such as arrhythmia. Dan Shen shares structural and pharmacological similarities with the cardiac glycosides found in digoxin.
